Do317.com, a new Indianapolis events website, is having a contest to give one Indiana band a chance to open for Jane's Addiction and The Roots at the Rolling Stone hosted Volkswagen Rock N Roll Tailgate Party on Sunday Feb 5 (aka Super Bowl Sunday). The winner will be chosen based upon fan voting so, WITH YOUR HELP, we like our chances! Voting begins this coming Monday, January 23rd at 8am EST and ends on Sunday January 29th at 8pm EST.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We come to you today with feelings of gratitude, regret and also excitement. We are sad to announce that, after 13 years of playing together, we must bid farewell to our brother in arms, Benjamin Tatum. Ben has decided to leave the band for greener pastures and we wish him the best in all his new endeavors. No hard feelings whatsoever – “a man’s gotta do…” and so on and so forth. Ben has been the most committed, responsible, energetic and punctual bandmate any of us could’ve ever asked for.

In other news, we do have a new show announcement. On Friday, November 4th, we’ll be playing at the Public Defender’s Ball @ Radio Radio in Historic Fountain Square. Other acts will include Andrew Bean and more to be announced. This will be our first show with our NEW guitar player, Mr. Robert Kermeen. Robert has been a friend and fan of the band for as long as we all can remember and was our first choice of many who offered a pair of hands to help with our newly available guitar position. We look forward to unveiling his considerable skills on 11/4.

Stay tuned to our various web outlets (especially the Facebook page) for more announcements as there is yet another show in the works for the Indianapolis area in December. Also, some more recordings should be coming down the chute very soon.

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we've had to cancel all the dates on our east coast tour. Unfortunately, there has been an serious illness in the Stereo Deluxe family.
