Mixed Emotions + Show Announcement

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We come to you today with feelings of gratitude, regret and also excitement. We are sad to announce that, after 13 years of playing together, we must bid farewell to our brother in arms, Benjamin Tatum. Ben has decided to leave the band for greener pastures and we wish him the best in all his new endeavors. No hard feelings whatsoever – “a man’s gotta do…” and so on and so forth. Ben has been the most committed, responsible, energetic and punctual bandmate any of us could’ve ever asked for.

In other news, we do have a new show announcement. On Friday, November 4th, we’ll be playing at the Public Defender’s Ball @ Radio Radio in Historic Fountain Square. Other acts will include Andrew Bean and more to be announced. This will be our first show with our NEW guitar player, Mr. Robert Kermeen. Robert has been a friend and fan of the band for as long as we all can remember and was our first choice of many who offered a pair of hands to help with our newly available guitar position. We look forward to unveiling his considerable skills on 11/4.

Stay tuned to our various web outlets (especially the Facebook page) for more announcements as there is yet another show in the works for the Indianapolis area in December. Also, some more recordings should be coming down the chute very soon.

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we've had to cancel all the dates on our east coast tour. Unfortunately, there has been an serious illness in the Stereo Deluxe family. Citizen Dick features 'Evils Twins'

Cleveland/Brooklyn based music blog CITIZEN DICK just posted 'Evil Twins' and a nice little piece about the band: "I've made the "some bands sound like places" argument too many times to count. When Stereo Deluxe popped into my inbox yesterday, I understood that I'd have to make it again. These dudes sound like the midwest. They've got the right blend of classic rock (something like "Smoke on the Water") and mid-nineties alt-rock (circa Siamese Dream Smashing Pumpkins, say), with the tiniest tiny dash of T. Rex (mostly "Get it On") for flavor. They sound like they listened to the same blend of radio stations growing up that I did. Granted, they're from Indiana, not Ohio, so the call letters were different, but it's the same idea, I'd wager. Stereo Deluxe have some New York dates on the schedule and are working on getting to Cleveland. More details on that as they" become available." check it out HERE
